IMPORTANT: SweetLife is NOT a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. All information provided by the app, including AI chat responses, is for educational and informational purposes only. Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your diabetes management. In case of emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
AI Chat Limitations
The Chug AI assistant is designed to provide general diabetes education and support. It may occasionally provide inaccurate information. Never rely solely on AI responses for medical decisions. The AI will not prescribe insulin doses, diagnose conditions, or replace professional medical advice.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for: verifying the accuracy of any data you enter, consulting healthcare professionals for medical decisions, not relying solely on the app for diabetes management, keeping your device and app access secure, and using the community features respectfully.
Accounts & Data
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Your health data belongs to you. You can export or delete your data at any time. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure -- we recommend regular backups.
Subscriptions & Payments
SweetLife offers free and paid subscription tiers. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective policies.
Intellectual Property
SweetLife and its content, features, and functionality are owned by SweetLife and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app or its content without permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SweetLife and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, any health outcomes related to information provided by the app.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app for violations of these terms, including misuse of community features or attempting to reverse-engineer the app.
